Pregnancy Health Dietary Guidelines

Every successful indigenous group producing a high immunity to disease and healthy babies used fat-soluble vitamins liberally.

Three principal sources for fat-soluble vitamins:

  1. Dairy products from grassfed animals.
  2. Organs and muscle meat from fish and shellfish.
  3. Organs of land animals.

It is important to note that vegetables do have fat-soluble vitamins (the same as fat-soluble activators); examples include , coconuts, and avocados. I believe that vegetable food sources, with their vitamins intact, work synergistically with the principal sources of fat-soluble vitamins, producing a very high immunity to every sort of disease. However an important distinction needs to be made. The hormone like activating substances that are related to fat-soluble vitamins in animal foods are not likely present in vegetable sources.

In the Western part of the world it will be difficult to find caribou, sea cow or seal. However, there is a simple lesson to be learned from the diet of the robust health diets of Eskimos and Indians of Canada’s north. Eat the entire animal.

Today, we have plenty of grassfed lamb, beef, chicken, turkey, bison, pork and wild sea foods. Yet our modern culture still follows the displaced dietary standard of avoiding the organ meats in favor of the muscle meats, eating, for example, the thigh or the butt and not the liver. With their wisdom and superb health, Canadian Indians described how they used the excess lean muscle meats — they fed them to their dogs. Take extra effort to obtain the organs of the animals that you are eating (organic only) and start eating them. The most readily available source of organs is fish. It is still easy to obtain whole fish and shellfish. Many times, fish merchants just throw away the fish or shellfish organs. This is a modern tragedy, as thousands of pounds of vitamins that could be used to make our children healthy, in the form of organs from healthy animals, are thrown into the trash or dumped into the ocean.
